What's the difference between a P60 and a P11D?
A P60 summarises an employee's total pay, tax and National Insurance for the whole tax year. A P11D reports taxable benefits like company cars or private medical insurance that weren't included in regular payroll. Both go to HMRC, and employees get copies.
Do I need to submit P11Ds if I payroll benefits?
If you've payrolled benefits throughout the year, you don't need to submit P11Ds for those specific benefits. You still need to submit a P11D(b) form to report and pay Class 1A National Insurance on them by July 22.
What happens if I miss the P60 or P11D deadline?
